3. Why doesn’t the adapter include a battery, and which type do I need to purchase?

The device requires one 18650 lithium battery, and it must be the version with a button-top positive end. For best performance, choose a battery with a capacity of 3000–4000mAh. Any reputable brand is acceptable, so you can purchase it locally with ease.
